2022 Looking back whilst moving forward

Only last week, just before Easter 22, the article “Covid19 Neonatal Nursing in a Global Pandemic” circulated again in social media. First shared in 2021, the accounts from around the world evoked the fear and the anxiety of those early, stressful days , the trauma that we all carry and the stark reality that we are still working through the twists and turns of this pandemic. I thought it would be interesting to compare how we are living now with how things were then, when we didn’t have the vaccines, how the information changed as the year wore on with research and data to support recommendations to practice and how we live.
