We would like to ask you to consider taking part in our research.
In this project called “DEFiNE”, we are interested in creating a definition for the term ‘Neonatal Encephalopathy’. We hope this will be the first step in standardising the language used to describe infants who have brain injury at birth. We want to find out what is important to a wide variety of stakeholders in this area, including the people involved in every aspect of their care.
We are inviting the following stakeholders to take part in the study:
Patients’ parents/family members of infants with neonatal encephalopathy
Health professionals involved in the care of infants with neonatal encephalopathy.
People with an interest in researching treatments for neonatal encephalopathy.
We would like you to take part in an online survey called a ‘Real-Time Delphi survey’ where we will provide a list of suggestions for inclusion in this definition and ask you to vote on how important you think it is to include them.
We will give you clear instructions on how to complete the survey. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The deadline to take part is the 28th April.
Please access the survey here: https://tinyurl.com/DefineDelphiSurveyTest
Please also pass this email and survey link on to your colleagues that may have an interest in taking part in our survey.
Please do not hesitate to contact the DEFINE research team if you require any further information on this study.
Kindest Regards,
DEFiNE (Definitions in Neonatal Encephalopathy)) Team,
Aoife Branagan (abranaga@tcd.ie)
