COINN at the Turkish Association of Neonatal Nurses Congress in Istanbul

The Council of International Neonatal Nurses (COINN) had the honour of participating in the Turkish Association of Neonatal Nurses Congress in Istanbul, a gathering of dedicated professionals from across the neonatal care spectrum. This important event provided a platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, and strengthening partnerships to enhance neonatal nursing on a global scale.

Our Regional Director for Europe, Julia Petty, was present in Istanbul, representing COINN and engaging with Turkish colleagues and international participants. Her presence emphasized our commitment to fostering collaboration and ensuring the highest standards of neonatal care across borders.

In addition, COINN’s CEO and Founder, Carole Kenner, and COINN President, Karen Walker, joined the congress virtually through a powerful presentation that highlighted COINN’s ongoing mission to advocate for neonatal nurses globally. Carole and Karen discussed COINN’s recent initiatives, the challenges and innovations in neonatal care, and the critical role of nurses in shaping neonatal health outcomes worldwide. Their virtual participation underscored the importance of global unity in advancing neonatal nursing.

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to such an impactful event, and we remain dedicated to supporting neonatal nurses everywhere. The Congress was a testament to the strength of the global neonatal community, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with our Turkish colleagues to ensure every newborn receives the care they deserve.

At COINN, we believe in the power of shared expertise and global partnerships, and this Congress was another step in our journey towards improving neonatal care on an international scale.
